** Job Opportunity: Provider Network Executive**

Position Purpose: We are seeking an Executive to lead our provider network and contracting activities. In this role, you will oversee the strategy, operations, and decision-making related to provider network management, reimbursement, and cost management. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating and negotiating contracts for our organization.
Your key responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision: Establish the strategic vision, objectives, policies, and procedures for the department.
- Standards and Quality: Develop, implement, and maintain production and quality standards for the Contracting department.
- Network Development: Oversee the development of provider networks in expansion markets by managing network development staff and external consultants.
- Analysis and Evaluation: Perform periodic analyses of the provider network's cost, coverage, and growth. Identify opportunities to enhance the network to meet Company goals.
- Budget and Forecasting: Manage budgeting and forecasting initiatives for product lines. Monitor network costs and provider contracts.
- Contract Negotiations: Analyze claim trend data and market information to support contract negotiations. Conduct regular reviews of provider contracting rates aligned with Company strategy.
- M &A Support: Support market expansion and M&A activities by leading provider contract analysis for due diligence.
- Provider Relations: Assist health plan CEO and/or COO vendors in key provider relations and strategy.
- Travel: Ability to travel as needed for this role.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. MBA or MHA degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in managed care network development and provider relations/contracting management within a healthcare and/or managed care environment.
- Previous experience in management, including supervising staff, hiring, training, and performance management.
- Valid driver's license.
