ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule will depend on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those who want a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule. Instead, you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts that are posted by leaders or other team members using our myTime mobile scheduling app. It is important that you actively engage by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our communication attempts. If we do not receive a response, your employment with Target will be terminated. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months or you will be terminated. Your ability to communicate and work during our busy times is essential to succeed in this role. If offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule to prepare for your new role. ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT As a Guest Advocate at Target, you will focus on providing exceptional guest service and exceeding their expectations. You will be knowledgeable about our products, services, and digital offerings. Your responsibilities may include: - Greeting and welcoming guests to create a positive experience - Recognizing guests who need assistance and tailoring your approach to meet their needs - Helping guests with their specific needs by offering solutions and promoting benefits and services - Thanking guests for choosing Target and making them aware of upcoming events and promotions - Scanning and bagging items efficiently and following food safety standards - Assisting guests with returns and resolving any concerns or issues - Providing easy and seamless service for guests using Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services - Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies - Ensuring compliance with safety policies and best practices WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR If you enjoy working in a fun and energetic environment, providing excellent service to our guests, and interacting with people, then you might be a great fit for us.
