Job Description

As a lunch aide, you will work with our food service team to create a safe environment for students during their lunchtime. Your role will involve serving the students and building positive relationships with all of them. You will monitor student behavior and intervene when necessary. Additionally, cleaning tasks will be part of your responsibilities.

SALARY: $12.00-$17.00/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)

LOCATION: To be determined

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 3 hours per day, 9 months per year

REPORTS TO: Food Service Manager

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand written information related to the lunchroom.
• Appropriate personality attributes for a school setting.
• Ability and willingness to help students develop and maintain appropriate behavior in the cafeteria.
• Ability to make sound judgments and work on your feet for at least three hours daily.
