Short Description Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University are seeking a new Chair and Chief of Surgery. We are looking for: - An academic surgeon with expertise in patient care and medical education - An experienced administrator with practice management skills - An individual with a national reputation in research - A leader who can drive programmatic development and promote inclusivity Overview The Department of Surgery at Cooper University Health Care has twelve divisions and a total of sixty-nine surgeons. Our faculty members have a strong track record of scholarly achievement, and we offer residency training programs and fellowships in various surgical specialties. In 2022, the Department of Surgery performed 12,000 surgical cases.
