[Job Description] We are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to lead our professional team responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating quality procedures and plans for high reliability products. The successful candidate will provide timely solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively manage program costs. [Roles and Responsibilities] - Lead a Quality Engineering team, addressing technical issues and supporting program teams. - Develop quality plans, inspection methods, and procedures to meet quality requirements. - Communicate and coordinate with internal and external customers. - Ensure compliance with quality standards and initiate corrective actions. - Manage investigations to determine the root cause of nonconformities. - Mentor and support cost account management activities. - Contribute to cross-functional teams and training programs. - Interview and hire qualified team members. [Qualifications] - Bachelor's Degree plus 9 years of experience (or equivalent experience). - Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics. - Previous experience managing a Quality Organization. - Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, and CMMi. [Additional Preferred Skills] - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to make timely decisions and manage priorities. - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab. - Strong financial background for cost account management. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing and root cause analysis techniques. - Experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing environments. - Aerospace or Defense Manufacturing experience. - Familiarity with government contracts and regulations. - ASQ certifications in Quality Management/Organizational Excellence or Quality Engineering.
