About the General Merchandise and Food & Beverage Roles

As part of our General Merchandise and Food Sales team, you will play a vital role in providing a consistent experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include ensuring products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. You will lead processes related to inbound and outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotions. In addition, you will be part of our Food & Beverage team, ensuring a fresh and food-safe experience for our guests. You will also handle pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work to ensure efficient delivery.

What You Can Expect from Target

• Gain knowledge of guest service fundamentals and contribute to a guest-first culture across the store
• Learn about retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency
• Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and achieve sales goals
• Acquire knowledge about food seasonality, freshness and quality, food safety standards, and merchandising

Additional Requirements

• Accurately handle cash register operations
• Be able to climb up and down ladders
• Efficiently and safely scan, handle, and move merchandise, including lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds
• Be available for a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
