Position: Provider Network Director
Position Purpose: As a Provider Network Director, you will lead our efforts in building strong relationships with healthcare providers. You will develop strategies, analyze costs, and negotiate contracts to ensure our members have access to quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the strategic vision, objectives, and policies for the department
- Set and maintain production and quality standards for the Contracting department
- Oversee the development of provider networks in new markets
- Analyze the provider network from a cost, coverage, and growth perspective
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for product lines and provider contracts
- Analyze claim trend data to support contract negotiations
- Review provider contracting rates to align with Company strategy
- Assist in analyzing provider contracts for market expansion and M&A activities
- Support provider relations and strategy for health plan leadership
- Ability to travel as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA or MHA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in managed care network development and provider relations/contracting management
- Prior experience in hiring, training, and managing staff
- Valid driver's license
