Responsibilities: - Direct involvement with specific departments to support accurate receiving, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, warehousing, and storage of products. - Ensure safety, security, and productivity standards are met in material movement. - Interact with suppliers to expedite, handle returns, and solve invoice/receipt problems. - Support SCM - Logistics, handle inquiries and problems from all levels of Mayo Clinic staff. - Enlist appropriate SCM personnel for assistance and work on special projects as assigned. - Research and resolve problem transactions, manage returns, and handle distribution of medical products and services. - Utilize reports to ensure data integrity and identify trends causing processing delays. - Comply with policies and regulations and assist with SCM continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: - High School diploma/GED, or Associate's Degree plus one year of experience. - Strong personal computer skills, communication skills, problem solving, continuous improvement, and teaming skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and adapt to an ever-changing work environment. - Basic understanding of accounting principles. - Ability to manage time and meet deadlines. - A small subset of employees may be required to drive, and a driver's license would be necessary. Compensation and Benefits: - Pay range: $18.95 - $24.66 per hour. - Eligible for comprehensive benefits. Schedule: - Full-time position, 64 hours per pay period. - 8-hour shifts, Monday - Sunday, with occasional variations. - Schedule subject to change to support hospital and patient needs. - Staff may have holiday and weekend rotations.
