Job Opportunity: Guest Advocate at Target

Starting Hourly Rate: $18.75 USD per hour

About the On-Demand Role:

As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those who prefer a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by our leaders or other team members through our myTime mobile scheduling app.

Active engagement, including picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our communication attempts, is required. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment with Target.

If offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are well-prepared for your role.

As a Guest Advocate, you will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities as a Guest Advocate may include:

• Delivering exceptional guest service by following our service standard
• Greeting and assisting guests with their specific needs
• Providing genuine engagement and building rapport with guests
• Understanding and utilizing the tools, products, and services available to improve the guest experience
• Thanking guests for choosing Target and making them aware of upcoming events and promotions
• Efficiently scanning and bagging items while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with standards
• Assisting guests with returns and following proper procedures
• Supporting services such as Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Promoting a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Working safely, identifying hazards, and complying with safety policies and practices
• Performing additional duties as required

Additional Information:

• You must be able to accurately handle cash register operations and transactions
• The role may involve frequent lifting or moving of merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
• A flexible work schedule is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• As an On-Demand TM, your active engagement is essential, and a response to communication attempts is required; failure to respond may result in termination of employment
