The Cardiovascular Intervention Center, part of the Smidt Heart Institute, is seeking skilled professionals to join our team. We perform over 8,000 procedures each year, serving patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Our twelve-laboratory facility offers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart muscle function, and heart valve dysfunction.

As a Clinical Nurse III, you will work in the Peri-anesthesia environment, providing care to patients before and after procedures. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and evaluating any issues that may arise from sedation or anesthesia. This fast-paced role requires strong clinical competencies and the ability to provide care to patients in acute phases and those transitioning to inpatient or same-day discharge settings.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• BSN Preferred
• Current, unrestricted California RN License
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience
• Experience in critical care strongly recommended
• Preop and/or PACU training and experience preferred
• PACU trained RNs will be eligible for Clinical Nurse III qualification
