We are currently hiring for a new role in Citi Markets Operations. Our goal is to implement a target operating model and create an inclusive and diverse culture. In our global organization, we have teams covering a range of post-execution Operations functions, such as Middle Office groups, Settlements, Margin, Asset Servicing, and more. We support various Capital Markets products and services, including Fixed Income, Equity, and Syndicates.

Our Operations groups are crucial to the success of the Markets business. We work closely with internal stakeholders like Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and HR. We also interact with our clients to ensure a great experience. Our Digitization and Implementation group focuses on automation solutions, and our Technology partners develop applications to support our operations.

In this new role, you will be responsible for conducting Regulatory Quality Assurance (QA) reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with different teams to identify gaps and implement remediation efforts. You will also participate in regulatory governance forums and contribute to the overall target state design and implementation of our strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Create and execute a forward-looking QA plan
• Partner with other teams to review controls and document interpretations of rules and regulations
• Monitor remediation efforts and ensure enhancements are implemented across all applicable teams
• Identify opportunities for process streamlining and organizational structure improvement

This role offers opportunities to influence our operating model, drive change, and work with various stakeholders and senior management. It requires strong people management skills and a focus on risk management and control. Experience in operations, technology, or risk in a financial services firm is preferred.

• Develop a control framework that meets Audit, Compliance, and Regulatory requirements
• Review and suggest changes to controls for risk uplift and standardization across regions
• Implement plans and meet deadlines for regulatory commitments
• Analyze risk metrics and contribute to senior management discussions
• Implement effective People and Engagement strategies
• Promote continuous improvement and a robust control environment
• Champion diversity and inclusion

Skills & Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience in operations or technology roles, with program and people management experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong risk management mindset
• Ability to succeed in a complex organization and broker solutions
• Exceptional project management skills
• Experience in delivering strategic change programs in a financial services firm is preferred
