    Job Title: Institutional Credit Management Portfolio Manager

    Job Description:

    As an ICM Portfolio Manager, you will be part of our Portfolio Management team, responsible for monitoring the Bank's wholesale credit exposures. This includes setting and monitoring credit limits, analyzing portfolio health, and identifying emerging risks. You will collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to develop effective monitoring strategies and contribute to risk management efforts. Your recommendations will play a crucial role in maintaining the Bank's risk appetite and achieving industry-leading credit analysis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure consistent portfolio management practices aligning with industry best practices and internal credit policies
    • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to monitor portfolios, manage risks, and set appropriate credit limits
    • Address concerns related to portfolio alerts and emerging risks, working closely with the early warning credit management team
    • Develop and execute effective strategies for portfolio monitoring and limits management, promoting a healthy working culture
    • Propose remediation strategies for large and concentrated exposures
    • Align the Bank's risk appetite with limits setting and calibration to control tail risk
    • Partner with credit risk colleagues and other teams to gain buy-in for limits proposals
    • Challenge and enhance management reporting infrastructure to ensure best-in-class utilization
    • Collaborate with global, regional, and industry stakeholders to design and calibrate metrics and indicators for portfolio health and credit monitoring
    • Contribute to talent retention and participate in budget development and expense monitoring
    • Support the development and enhancement of learning, development, and training for portfolio monitoring and limits management
    • Participate in internal projects and initiatives
    • Support ICM Voice of the Employee initiatives
    • Travel occasionally (less than 25%)

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred)
    • Financial Services experience with 7+ years of credit experience in Banking, Trading, Structuring, or Credit Risk Management
    • MBA, CPA, or CFA qualifications preferred (formal credit training is a plus)

    Experience and Skills:

    • Demonstrated risk assessment skills
    • Thorough understanding of credit policy and risk principles
    • Ability to recognize and address various types of risk
    • Solid knowledge of risk and regulatory capital issues
    • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
