Job Description:

As a Guest Advocate at Target, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. You will interact with guests to create an inclusive and welcoming experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and assisting guests in a genuine and personalized manner
• Understanding and addressing guests' specific needs
• Promoting and selling various products, services, and benefits
• Scanning and bagging items efficiently, following safety and company standards
• Keeping guests informed about brand launches, store activities, and events
• Assisting guests with using the Target App and other digital services
• Making returns and resolving any concerns while following store policies
• Providing excellent service to guests using Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services
• Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies
• Promoting a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

Requirements:

• Effective communication skills and a welcoming attitude
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Willingness to educate guests and promote products and services
• Ability to adapt to evolving technology
• Capability to work independently as well as in a team
• Accurate handling of cash transactions
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds, occasionally up to 40 pounds
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
