About On Demand

As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members using our myTime mobile scheduling app. We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to our attempts to contact you.

We will reach out throughout the year to confirm your availability and interest in working shifts. Failure to respond to our communication or work at least one shift within 6 months may result in the termination of your employment with Target.

If selected as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your new role. Afterward, you will use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up shifts.

About Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate, your role is to provide exceptional service and exceed guest expectations. You will interact with guests, both in person and digitally, and provide them with a seamless and effortless shopping experience. Your responsibilities may include:

• Communicating and building an inclusive guest experience
• Solving guest concerns and improving their experience
• Assisting guests with using the Target App and other offerings
• Supporting guest services like order pick-up and drive-up
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Following safety, ethical, and compliance guidelines

What We Are Looking For

We expect team members to accurately handle cash transactions when required, move merchandise safely, and have a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. As an On-Demand TM, we ask for your active engagement in picking up and working shifts via our myTime mobile app. Failure to do so or to work at least one shift within 6 months may result in termination.
