    About the team

    Fast paced environment supporting a mid-tier banking client looking to grow their footprint. Application support team is responsible for daily support, patching, upgrades, and development of approximately 30+ FIS and 3rd party applications.

    What you will be doing

    · You will be responsible for support of 3 to 5 mainframe applications.

    · You will be on call and responsible for responding to issues with your applications at all times.

    · You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, recommending remediation, applying corrections, providing root cause analysis, reviewing business requirements, designing application customizations, apply patches and updates, and performing unit testing, all in support of your application(s).

    · You will be responsible for entering time keeping on a weekly basis, communicating status with team leadership and the client, following documented change control procedures (including entering change tickets and performing code scans), completing required training and regulatory courses in a timely manner as assigned by FIS.

    · You will be responsible for meeting documented goals as part of an continuous performance evaluation process.

    · Strong COBOL and JCL knowledge for programmers

    · Strong banking business knowledge for business analysts

    · Strong Systematics application knowledge and recent experience supporting Systematics applications

    · Strong communications skills, written and verbal

    · HostBridge knowledge

    · Systematics FMS General Ledger knowledge

    · Systematics Intersystem Transfer knowledge
