We are looking for a passionate Assistant Store Manager who can use their automotive or customer service expertise to serve both our wholesale and retail customers. As a leader, you will help NAPA become the leading parts supplier in the market. This opportunity is perfect for you if:

Responsibilities
- Create a superior customer service experience to increase market penetration and drive store growth.
- Lead and engage your team to promote employee engagement.
- Collaborate with your teammates to drive company initiatives.
- Care about both people and profit.
- Lead a successful team and manage store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Maximize sales, profits, and customer service.
- Coach, train, and engage your team to provide excellent customer care and achieve business results.
- Ensure inventory protection, asset management, and operational and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas.
- Implement NAPA operational and marketing programs and continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Build customer relationships and ensure a positive experience in-store and over the phone.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or trade school courses or degree completion is a plus.
- Experience in the automotive after-market service industry or a willingness to learn.
- Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment.
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift 60lbs in some situations.
- Background and/or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership is a plus.
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management is a plus.
- Customer-centric mindset.
- ASE Certifications are a plus.
- NAPA Know How is a plus.
