** What You Will Do:**
We are looking for consultants who specialize in data engineering and architecture to help our clients make the most of their data. Our team collaborates with clients to provide a wide range of data analytics and data science services, from data organization and analysis to data visualization, business intelligence, and predictive analytics. By using our services, our clients can develop effective information strategies, make data-driven decisions, reduce complexity and costs, build trust, and enhance operational efficiency.
Support National Security clients by providing data science services.
Engage with clients to understand requirements, gather feedback, and communicate results.
Collaborate with other data science and analytics professionals to deliver various consulting services.
Work as a data engineer and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) developer in cross-functional teams.
Build and manage scalable data pipeline architectures and tools.
Utilize data integration and management tools and databases.
Design, implement, and test database systems using SQL.
Process and manipulate data using Python.
Prepare data for data science and machine learning purposes.
Utilize different storage types, including relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and NoSQL.
Work with cloud-based databases and architecture, specifically Azure and Databricks.
Design and build secure distributed systems.
Create technical process documentation.
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Work on both remote and on-site projects in the DC metro area.
** What You Will Need:**
Active and current Secret federal security clearance.
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience.
Proficiency in SQL and complex query development.
Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Python for data manipulation.
Understanding of different data storage types.
Experience with cloud-based databases, specifically Azure and Databricks.
Ability to work on remote and on-site projects in the DC metro area.
** What Would Be Nice To Have:**
Active and current Top Secret federal security clearance.
M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
At least 6 years of professional experience.
Experience designing data solutions in Azure.
Experience with Databricks, DevOps, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
Ability to implement basic automation and CI/CD.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and API gateways.
Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Experience with source code version control technologies, such as Git.
Ability to code and debug stored procedures.
Experience supporting Federal National Security organizations.
