Responsibilities

We are seeking individuals who can produce high-quality medical images for physicians to interpret. You must meet Mayo Clinic Radiology Department's established standards. This role requires competence in utilizing various imaging equipment and technologies while prioritizing safety guidelines for yourself, support personnel, and patients. Effective communication and teamwork are essential. You will be expected to provide excellent service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Flexibility is required to work in different locations, various shifts, and varying lengths. Performing other assigned duties to ensure efficient and optimal patient care is also expected.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have graduated from an accredited radiography program. You should possess strong organizational and multitasking skills, along with the ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You must be available to work varied hours, shifts, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

• Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist is preferred.
• Must be ARRT certified in Radiography.
• CT certification from ARRT must be obtained within 18 months of hire (or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees).
• Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership.
• Appropriate state licensure, if required by the state.

License or Certification:

BLS certification is required.

Schedule Details

All positions will have rotating shifts at both the Mankato hospital CT department and the Madison East CT department. Weekend and holiday rotations at the Mankato hospital are required. Primarily, shifts will be during the day and evening with occasional overnight shifts.
