ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND - As an On-Demand TM (Team Member), you can work as much or as little as you want, depending on shift availability and store needs. - This role is ideal for those who prefer a personalized work schedule. - Instead of being on the posted weekly schedule, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you, through our myTime mobile scheduling app. - Active engagement is required, meaning you need to pick up and work shifts and respond to our communication attempts. - We will reach out to you throughout the year to confirm your availability and interest in working shifts at Target. Failure to respond may result in your employment being terminated. - Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within six months, or your employment will be terminated. - Good communication skills and availability during peak business hours are essential for success in this role. - If offered the position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule to prepare you for your new role. - After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up the shifts you want to work. ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT - Guest Advocates are responsible for providing excellent guest service and exceeding expectations. - They are knowledgeable about both physical and digital services and solutions and help guests with their needs. - Guest Advocates make shopping effortless and seamless across various areas in the store. - As a Guest Advocate, your responsibilities may include: - Demonstrating a service-oriented culture by prioritizing guest service. - Welcoming guests and observing their needs to provide assistance. - Engaging with guests in a genuine way to understand their specific needs. - Being knowledgeable about products and services to improve the guest experience. - Thanking guests for choosing to shop at Target. - Efficiently scanning and bagging items. - Minimizing wait time for guests while maintaining accuracy. - Informing guests about brand launches, store activities, and events. - Promoting and explaining the benefits of the Target RedCard. - Assisting guests with using the Target App and its features. - Handling returns and resolving any issues. - Providing excellent service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests. - Maintaining a clean work area and restocking supplies. - Ensuring ethical conduct, safety, and compliance at all times. Failure to do so may result in termination. - You must work at least one shift within six months, or your employment will be terminated.
