Job Description: We are currently offering an increased rate of $50.00/hr for the position of Cardiac Sonographer II PRN. As a Cardiac Sonographer II, you will be responsible for performing 2D and 3D echocardiograms, including color and Spectral Doppler, in the echo lab and at the bedside of high acuity patients. This role also involves imaging patients on ventilators, ECMO, and Impella. Additionally, you will perform stress echocardiograms, assist cardiologists with procedures, and provide sonography training across multiple disciplines. You will need to recognize the need for agitated saline and contrast agents, as well as perform IV insertion if necessary. Cultivating a collaborative work environment within the department is an important aspect of this role. Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role - Proof of required clinical hours from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program - Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program - Must obtain ARDMS or CCI certifications for Adult Echocardiography within 6 months of employment Special Schedule: - Shifts: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00am - 5:30pm or 6:00am - 4:30pm - Shift duration: 10 hours - 9 weekend shifts in a 6-week period - No on-call requirement If you are interested in joining our team, please fill out the application form below and we will get back to you soon.
