Job Opportunity at ALDI - Warehouse Associate

Position Type: Full-Time

Average Hours: 30-35 hours per week

Starting Wage: $22.75 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and organize stock to fulfill store orders efficiently
• Move merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
• Assist with inventory counts
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns
• Act independently within assigned responsibilities
• Support warehouse management in achieving goals
• Perform assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and following company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and efficiency
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets
• Move merchandise and prepare it for deliveries
• Engage in various physical activities throughout the warehouse
• Work in temperatures that vary between hot and cold environments
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment
