Job Description
We are looking for someone who can provide accounting support and guidance to the Division of Leadership, Teaching, and Learning. Our goal is to inspire and prepare every scholar to achieve their dreams and contribute to the community through a lifetime of learning. Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and monitoring the annual budget
- Record financial transactions
- Prepare financial reports
- Verify financial transactions
- Create and recommend accounting policies and procedures
- Conduct financial analysis and research
- Provide accurate financial information to department leaders
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards
- Assist with special funded projects and grants
- Support technical accounting tasks for the division
- Maintain professional knowledge and attend workshops
Qualifications:
- College graduate with a major in accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Three years of proven success in accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Extensive knowledge in accounting and related fields
- Ability to use computerized accounting systems
- Preferred knowledge of governmental accounting and education financial rules
Salary and Benefits:
- View salary grids in the Management Personnel I-M agreement
- Contract length of 225 days
