    Job Title: Facility Operator

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a Facility Operator to join our team and help us operate and monitor our company plants and facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our plants and facilities are running smoothly and efficiently. This is an important position that ensures the quality of our products and plays a vital role in our overall operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Verify the quality of products before they leave our facility and reach the customer
    • Maintain a compliant shipping and receiving system with proper documentation
    • Plan and schedule load-out functions to meet customer demands while maintaining product quality
    • Inventory management and product purchasing as needed
    • Continuously improve quality control in all aspects of plant shipping and receiving operations
    • Acquire, label, and store product samples for quality purposes
    • Inspect and test incoming raw material shipments before their release for use
    • Perform load-out functions and train plant operators on safe procedures
    • Prepare railcars and trucks for shipment
    • Ensure accurate paperwork is completed for each shipment, received item, and produced item
    • Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping
    • Verify load-out instrumentation for proper function
    • Generate daily shipment reports
    • Follow all safety regulations and guidelines
    • Assist with manufacturing, packaging, and load-out of specialty oil products
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school education or equivalent
    • 5 years of experience in load-out operations and shipping/receiving
    • Basic computer skills and good communication and organizational skills
    • Forklift Operator Certificate
    • Ability to operate plant computer systems and equipment (forklift, locomotive, etc.)
    • Working knowledge of soy oil and biodiesel processing as well as quality requirements
    • Ability to distinguish colors
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Availability for work and overtime as required
