About On Demand:

As an On-Demand Team Member (TM) at Target, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you. You will need to actively engage by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our communication attempts.

Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment with Target.

If offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up shifts.

About the Guest Advocate Role:

Guest Advocates are advocates of the guest experience at Target. They welcome and exceed guest service expectations, both in person and through digital services. As a Guest Advocate, you will communicate and interact with guests, solve guest concerns, promote and sell various offerings, and provide easy and seamless service for guests.

No two days as a Guest Advocate are the same, but a typical day may include responsibilities such as:

• Delivering exceptional guest service by authentically greeting guests and understanding their specific needs
• Being knowledgeable about available products and services to enhance the guest experience
• Assisting guests with returns, register prompts, and promoting the Target RedCard
• Serving guests using various fulfillment services, such as Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry
• Maintaining a clean and clutter-free work area
• Ensuring ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

Additional Requirements:

• Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely and efficiently
• Flexibility in work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to communication attempts
• Ability to work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment
