Position Details: - Part Time: 24 hours per week. - Day Shift. Summary: - The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care based on knowledge in various sciences. - This includes biology, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. Responsibilities: 1. Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing care for individual or groups of patients. 2. Provide care for patients of all ages and developmental stages. 3. Perform leadership and professional duties. 4. Deliver patient-centered care. 5. Contribute to quality improvement and safety efforts. 6. Participate in staff development and mentorship. 7. Apply evidence-based practices. 8. Support collaboration with providers for efficient and quality care. 9. Engage in systems-based practice. 10. Utilize informatics and technology. 11. May be assigned to different areas within the hospital based on patient needs. 12. Other duties as required. Technical Expertise: 1. Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to other staff members. 2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. 4. Strong organizational abilities. 5. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks. 6. Experience working with various levels within an organization. 7. Experience in healthcare is preferred. 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software. 9. Experience with electronic medical record systems, such as EPIC, is preferred. Education and Experience: 1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required or must be obtained within 5 years from hire. 2. Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required. 3. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio. 4. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred. 5. No supervisory experience required. Additional Information: - Part time position, FTE: 0.600000. - Onsite work is required.
