    About the On-Demand Guest Advocate Role:

    As an On-Demand Guest Advocate, you have the freedom to choose your own work schedule. You can work as much or as little as you like by picking up shifts that best fit your availability. This role is perfect for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

    To succeed as an On-Demand Guest Advocate, active engagement is necessary. You will need to actively pick up and work shifts, as well as respond to our communication attempts throughout the year. Regular attendance is also required, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment.

    If selected for the position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up shifts.

    About the Service & Engagement Responsibilities:

    As a Guest Advocate, your role is to provide exceptional guest service and create a welcoming experience. Your responsibilities may include:

    • Authentically greeting and engaging with guests, understanding their specific needs
    • Being knowledgeable about Target's offerings and services to enhance the guest experience
    • Assisting guests with various tasks, such as scanning and bagging items
    • Promoting benefits and offerings such as the Target RedCard and the Target App
    • Delivering seamless service to guests using Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services
    • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
    • Promoting a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
