    Job Opportunity: Solution Architect - Hybrid Cloud Overview:

We are currently looking for a Solution Architect - Hybrid Cloud who will design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure hybrid cloud solutions.

    This position offers remote work options, but occasional travel to our headquarters in Johnston, RI may be required based on business needs. The work schedule follows EST hours.

    Responsibilities:

    To succeed in this role, you will:

    • Design comprehensive hybrid cloud architectures that combine on-premises infrastructure with public and private cloud platforms to meet project requirements for scalability, security, availability, and performance.
    • Have expertise in leading cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and recommend and implement suitable cloud solutions based on project needs and cost-effectiveness.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and infrastructure teams on best practices for designing, implementing, and managing hybrid cloud environments.
    • Design and implement integration strategies to connect on-premises systems with cloud services, ensuring seamless data flow and secure connectivity between environments.
    • Assess and address security and compliance requirements for hybrid cloud solutions, including identity and access management, data protection, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
    • Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies for hybrid cloud deployments, including workload placement, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
    • Create and maintain detailed architecture documents, diagrams, and technical specifications, and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in hybrid cloud architectures to continuously improve our solutions.

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
    • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions.
    • Strong expertise in hybrid cloud architectures, including integration of on-premises infrastructure with public and private cloud platforms.
    • In-depth knowledge of leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including their services and capabilities.
    • Experience with infrastructure technologies, such as virtualization, networking, storage, and security.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.
    • Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and proficiency in architectural modeling tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Certifications that help:

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    • Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience and training.
    • Advanced degrees and certifications are desirable.

    The hiring range for this position is $110,900 to $182,300. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
