    As an On-Demand Team Member at Target, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule will vary based on shift availability and store needs, making this role perfect for those looking for a personalized work schedule.

    As an On-Demand Team Member, you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you, using our myTime mobile scheduling app. We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts as well as responding to our attempts to contact you. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment.

    Once hired, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and a structured training schedule to prepare you for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up the shifts you desire to work.

    ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

    As a Guest Advocate at Target, your main role is to prioritize guest service by creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. You will interact with guests at various areas of the store, such as checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up.

    • Communicating and interacting with guests to provide an excellent guest experience
    • Problem-solving and decision-making to exceed guest expectations and resolve concerns
    • Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
    • Promoting and selling various benefits, offerings, and services

    Some of your responsibilities as a Guest Advocate may include:

    • Creating a welcoming experience by greeting all guests
    • Observing and understanding guest needs through body language and verbal clues
    • Engaging with guests and asking questions to better understand their specific needs
    • Being knowledgeable about products, services, and store offerings to improve the guest experience
    • Assisting guests with returns and following register prompts
    • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
    • Working in a safe manner and complying with all safety policies
