PowerFlex Software Engineer
The PowerFlex Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing cutting edge software while providing creative solutions based on our business needs. You will:
Lead complex software features through the agile software lifecycle. Gather, learn, investigate, and balance software requirements, shaping them into actionable items. Write high quality modular software designs. Implement great code. Define and implement concrete tests and metrics to ensure the definition of done is met. Convey clear and accurate technical documentation and provide long term support.
Be responsible for improving our stability by troubleshooting and integrating smart solutions to existing components.
Help improve development methodologies.
Coach peers, partake in and lead design reviews while driving best practices to constantly improve the quality of our product.

Essential Requirements
7+ years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following: storage, device drivers, databases, networking, embedded software/firmware development, Linux
Excellent coding skills, with in-depth knowledge of C/C++
Great team player who knows when and how to push independently when needed
Desirable Requirements
Robust knowledge in storage systems data-path – replication technologies in particular
Experience and understanding of Linux internals and experience in agile methodologies
