    About the Role:

    As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary based on shift availability and store needs, making this role perfect for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or team members through our myTime mobile scheduling app.

    In order to be successful, active engagement is required. This includes picking up and working shifts as well as responding to our attempts to contact you. Attendance is crucial, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain employment.

    Upon being offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training program to ensure you are prepared for your role. Afterwards, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to select the shifts you desire to work.

    About Service & Engagement:

    As a Guest Advocate, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and exceptional guest experience. You will interact with guests to understand their needs, solve any concerns, and provide assistance. Your responsibilities may include:

    • Prioritizing guest service by maintaining a welcoming and friendly environment
    • Observing and responding to guests' cues and body language
    • Being knowledgeable about store offerings and addressing guest inquiries
    • Thanking guests for choosing Target and ensuring efficient checkout
    • Promoting and explaining benefits, services, and features to guests
    • Assisting with returns and resolving any issues
    • Ensuring cleanliness and organization at workstations
    • Being aware of safety policies and compliance standards
