About the On-Demand Team Member Role

As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the flexibility to choose your own work schedule. This role is ideal for those who are looking for a personalized schedule. You will have the opportunity to pick up shifts that best fit your availability. We require active engagement, including picking up and working shifts and responding to our attempts to contact you.

If you are offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo structured training to prepare for your new role. You will then use our myTime mobile scheduling app to choose the shifts you want to work.

About the Service & Engagement Responsibilities

As a Guest Advocate, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and welcoming guest experience. You will interact with guests, address their needs, and exceed their expectations. Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering excellent service by following our service standard
• Greeting guests in an authentic and welcoming manner
• Identifying guest needs through observation and communication
• Being knowledgeable about our products, services, and store offerings
• Thanking guests and making them feel appreciated
• Efficiently scanning and bagging items
• Minimizing guest wait times while maintaining accuracy
• Promoting and explaining the benefits of our services and offerings
• Showcasing the features and offerings within our mobile app
• Handling returns and resolving guest concerns
• Providing seamless service to guests using our various fulfillment services
• Keeping your work area clean and organized
• Promoting ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Supporting order pick-up and drive-up services
• Performing other duties as needed
