Job Description: Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors are responsible for coaching our customers, ensuring payment collections, and renewing lease agreements. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and in-person to help them become owners of our products. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to navigate difficult conversations, and excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills. Responsibilities: - Maintain customer accounts, update customer information, and document payment appointments. - Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, both through home visits and over the phone. - Persuade customers to renew their agreements by highlighting the benefits of timely payments. - Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals. - Support with merchandise returns and guest deliveries when needed. - Clean and certify returned merchandise. - Complete vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily. - Load, secure, and protect products in company vehicles. - Safely operate company vehicles. - Assist the Sales Team as required. - Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management. Requirements: - Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license (age 18 in Canada). - Must meet DOT requirements for certification in required states (United States). - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 300 lbs. with the help of a dolly. - Two years of retail or customer service experience preferred. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - High energy and ability to multitask effectively. - Proficient computer skills. - Must maintain a professional appearance. - Must uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets. - Proper telephone etiquette.
