We are looking for a passionate scientist to join our team at Sanofi's Structural Biology & Protein Design Lab. Our lab is part of the Protein Engineering Group in the LMR Department. As a key team member, you will contribute to exciting projects in Immuno-oncology, Immunology & Inflammation, and Rare & Neuro therapeutic areas. We use cutting-edge technologies such as cryo-EM and digital biology tools to design and engineer large molecule medicines. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structural biology analysis to support large molecule projects.
• Provide structure and protein engineering support for our biologics R&D portfolio.
• Develop protein design solutions for antibody/nanobody engineering.
• Stay updated with the latest scientific developments in structural biology and antibody engineering.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse scientific backgrounds.

Basic Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, or similar, OR MS with 3 years of experience in structural biology and protein design.
• Experience with protein crystallography and cryo-EM.
• Deep understanding of antibody/nanobody structure and its application in biologics R&D.
• Proficiency in protein modeling, structural analysis, and structure-based protein design.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Track record of scientific publications.
• Experience with obtaining high-resolution structures of integral membrane proteins is preferred.
• Familiarity with statistics and machine learning is preferred.
