All About On Demand

As an On-Demand Team Member (TM) at Target, you have the flexibility to choose your schedule based on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. Instead of being included in the weekly schedule, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members using our myTime mobile scheduling app.

Your active engagement is essential in picking up and working shifts and responding to our communication attempts. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months.

If offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training schedule to prepare for your role. After that, you can pick up the shifts you desire to work through the myTime app.

All About Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate at Target, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive guest experience. You will exceed guest service expectations, provide information on our services and offerings, and assist with problem-solving. Your responsibilities may include:

• Greeting and welcoming all guests
• Engaging with guests to understand their needs
• Providing knowledgeable assistance and promoting benefits, offerings, and services
• Thanking guests and ensuring their shopping experience is positive
• Scanning and bagging items efficiently
• Assisting with returns and resolving guest concerns
• Delivering easy and seamless service to guests for order pick-up and drive-up
• Keeping your work area clean and organized

Additional Expectations

• Accurate handling of cash transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 15 pounds frequently, up to 40 pounds occasionally)
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement in picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to communication attempts
