Job Title: Advisor, Vulnerability Management and Remediation

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and managing vulnerability management activities in large enterprise environments. As a Vulnerability Management Advisor, you will collaborate with various teams to drive vulnerability remediation and communicate vulnerabilities to executive leadership.
You will:
Work with IT and Engineering teams to drive remediation efforts and improve vulnerability management processes.
Analyze security issues, determine causes and impacts, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Have a strong understanding of vulnerability validation, reproduction, remedy advice, and vulnerability research.
Effectively communicate risks and impacts to stakeholders, conveying the urgency and need to remediate vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Engineering, Infrastructure, application development teams, and Cybersecurity teams, to manage response and remediation efforts.
Qualifications
Essential requirements:
4-6 years of related experience in Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture, Security Operations, Engineering/IT Operations, or DevSecOps.
Hands-on experience with Vulnerability Scanning & Management tools (Nexpose, Tenable, Qualys, Prisma Cloud, Aqua, Kenna Security, or equivalent).
Experience in analyzing systems, identifying security problems, conducting threat modeling, and managing vulnerability remediation.
Experience in business process management, program management, and/or executive communication.
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and influence others or manage indirectly.
Desirable Requirements:
Hands-on experience with security operations in Cloud Environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.) and containers/Kubernetes technologies.
CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or similar certifications are advantageous.
