Join us as an On-Demand Team Member

As an On-Demand Team Member at Target, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule will depend on shift availability and store needs. This is a great role for those seeking a personalized work schedule. Unlike regular team members, On-Demand Team Members are not included in the posted weekly schedule. Instead, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that are posted by leaders or other team members using our myTime mobile scheduling app. We ask for your active engagement in picking up and working shifts, and prompt response to our communication attempts.

Please note that regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment with Target.

If you are offered a position as an On-Demand Team Member, you will need to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are well-prepared for your role. After that, you can use the myTime scheduling app to select the shifts that work best for you.

Service & Engagement at Target

As a Guest Advocate, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and exceptional guest experience. You will be an advocate for both physical and digital services and solutions, helping guests with their needs and ensuring their satisfaction. Your responsibilities may include:

• Welcoming and greeting guests authentically
• Observing and understanding guest cues to provide personalized assistance
• Engaging with guests in a genuine way by asking questions and understanding their specific needs
• Being knowledgeable about our products, services, and store offerings to enhance the guest experience
• Scanning and bagging items efficiently and following food safety standards
• Assisting guests with returns and resolving any concerns
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Promoting Target RedCard benefits and assisting guests with the application process
• Supporting Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services
• Ensuring a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
