A Brief Overview

As a Billing Specialist I, your main responsibility will be managing and preparing invoices for assigned client accounts. Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery in the billing process is crucial. This role represents the first level in a three-level career development class series, providing you with the necessary experience to advance to a Senior Biller position.

Your Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices for billing and/or network invoice purposes, ensuring accurate costs and pricing for parts. Research and resolve any errors detected, while complying with insurance standards and company policies.
• Address basic and common client billing questions and issues. Conduct research to determine the appropriate resolution. Escalate more complex situations to the Billing Specialist II and/or Management.
• Identify and communicate any system problems, trends, or repetitive issues with assigned clients to department leadership.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma Required
• Experience: Less than 1 year Required
• Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, UltiPro, Oracle
