Your role as a Guest Advocate is to exceed guest service expectations by engaging with guests, solving concerns, and making their shopping experience seamless. You will have the opportunity to communicate, interact, and help guests discover the joy of everyday life.

Job Details:

• Starting Hourly Rate: $16.75 USD
• Flexible work schedule - work as much or as little as you like
• Create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you
• Regular attendance necessary

Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests authentically
• Engage with guests, ask questions to understand their needs, and provide personalized assistance
• Be knowledgeable about our products, services, and store offerings to enhance the guest experience
• Thank guests for choosing Target and make them aware of current and upcoming promotions
• Efficiently scan and bag guest items, maintaining cleanliness and complying with safety standards
• Assist guests with returns, resolve concerns, and de-escalate negative situations
• Support order pick-up and delivery services, such as Drive Up and Registry
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ensure ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to educate guests and promote products and services
• Adaptability to evolving technology
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Accurate cash register operations and cash handling
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 15 pounds (and occasionally up to 40 pounds)
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
