ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND In the role of an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the flexibility to choose your own schedule. Shift availability and store needs will determine your working hours. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you won't be included on the posted weekly schedule. Instead, you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you. We require your active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to our attempts at contact. Your regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment with Target. If you are offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training schedule to prepare you for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up the shifts you want to work. ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT As a Guest Advocate at Target, you will be dedicated to providing exceptional guest service. Your main responsibilities will include: - Creating a welcoming experience for guests by greeting them authentically - Identifying when guests need assistance and tailoring your approach to suit their needs - Being knowledgeable about the products and services available in the store to solve guest issues and improve their experience - Thanking guests and letting them know we appreciate their choice to shop at Target - Scanning and bagging items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards - Assisting guests with returns and promoting the benefits of the Target RedCard - Supporting Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests - Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies during store open hours - Working in a safe and compliant manner, following all safety policies and best practices WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We might be a great match if: - You enjoy working in a fun and energetic environment - Providing service that makes guests say "I LOVE TARGET!" excites you - Interacting with people and making their day better is something you enjoy - You are looking for a busy and dynamic job that is not behind a computer all day The good news is that we provide comprehensive training to teach you everything you need to know as a Guest Advocate.
