About the On-Demand Role:

As an On-Demand team member (TM), you have the flexibility to choose your own work schedule. You can work as much or as little as you like depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those who want a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you won't be included in the weekly schedule posting. Instead, you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app, which allows you to choose shifts that work best for you.

Active engagement is required in this role. You must pick up and work shifts and respond to our attempts to contact you. Regular attendance is necessary, and you should work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment.

If selected for the role, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and receive short-term structured training to ensure you are prepared for your new position. After that, you can use the myTime mobile app to pick up the shifts you desire to work.

About Service & Engagement:

As a Guest Advocate, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and welcoming experience for our guests. You will exceed guest service expectations by providing assistance, solving concerns, and promoting our products and services. Your responsibilities may include:

• Building an inclusive guest experience by communicating and interacting with guests effectively
• Using problem-solving skills to positively impact the guest experience
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and selling various benefits, offerings, and services

• Accurate handling of cash register operations and transactions
• Efficient and safe handling of merchandise, including occasional lifting up to 40 pounds
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with regular attendance
• Active engagement in picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts
