About the role

The Distribution Center (DC) Picker role is an important support position in Safelite's supply chain. As a DC Picker, you will be a flexible and versatile team member in the Distribution Center. Your main task will be safely picking and handling safety glass using a reach truck up to 40 feet in the air. You will need to meet speed, precision, and safety metrics to ensure our retail partners have the right products at the right time to serve our customers.

• Shift: 3:00pm - 12:30am (Monday through Friday)

What you'll do

• Use an order picker and handheld RF scanner to pick windshields and other items
• Perform with speed, precision, and safety
• Receive training and certification to confidently operate MHE equipment
• Complete orders for Windshield and Curved Tempered parts
• Audit glass to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Assist in other areas of the distribution center as needed

What you'll need

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience with MHE equipment preferred (forklift, reach truck, order picker, etc.)
• Punctuality and commitment to attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be comfortable with heights
• Resilience to work in various environmental conditions
• Willingness to support other areas of the distribution center
• A positive attitude with a focus on customer service
