Job Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Central Fill Operational Team. As the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include analyzing and preparing budgets, inventory control, operational efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, transportation, and facilities management. You will review and analyze reports, records, and directives, and collaborate with the leadership team to obtain data for new initiatives, planning activities, work in progress, and potential risks. Key Responsibilities: - Track and measure metrics related to people, performance, and quality, including cost per script, scripts per hour, expense per script, production by area, safety performance index, and employee opinion. - Manage multiple priorities and navigate through complex situations, both internal and external, that may require multiple decision-makers. - Ensure the safety, security, and accuracy of people and product dispensed for patient use. - Develop, drive, implement, and maintain innovation and continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes, customer support, cost structure, and quality. - Manage day-to-day operations, including priority setting, planning, and resource management to exceed pharmaceutical distribution objectives. - Foster high-quality employee attraction, engagement, and development at all levels, promoting a high-performing culture. - Conduct performance reviews for the leadership team, initiate development plans, objectives, and provide coaching support. - Create, review, and distribute contractual reporting analytics to customers on a revolving basis. - Maintain appropriate communications with all levels of the organization and ensure distribution center employees are aware of the company's strategy and direction. - Manage vendor relations, accounts payable, purchase order, and invoice processes. - Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for mandatory McKesson annual training, pharmacy/distribution SOPs, and compliance training. - Analyze ongoing expenses within the distribution center, take corrective action where variances occur, and drive continuous improvement activities. - Oversee pharmacy installs and troubleshoot proprietary system problems. Minimum Requirements: - 6+ years of professional experience. - 0-2 years of supervisory and/or management experience. Critical Skills: - 5+ years of experience in distribution and/or pharmacy operations. - 2+ years of experience inspiring and leading a team, executing strategies, and developing self and others. - Strong experience managing a team to meet performance metrics. - Experience working within compliance and regulation. - Excellent presentation skills and effective communication with all levels of management and customers. - Advanced MS Office and general computer proficiency. - Flexibility in working hours and ability to adjust shift and overtime based on business requirements. - Budgetary responsibility and monitoring of costs. Additional Knowledge & Skills: - SAP experience preferred. - Expert understanding of Pharmacy Operations and relevant Multi-State Retail Pharmacy Laws. Education: - 4-year degree or equivalent experience. Physical Requirements: - Time spent standing and walking in a warehouse environment. - Time spent sitting at a desk.
