Field Based Position
Position Purpose: As a Health Benefit Representative (HBR), you will have the opportunity to sell our Fidelis Care products and services. Your main goal will be to identify opportunities for membership growth in your assigned territory and enroll individuals in the appropriate Fidelis Care product. You will fully understand our products and be able to effectively explain and recommend the best option for each individual's unique needs. You will also have in-depth knowledge of all Fidelis Care products, including those offered through the New York State of Health (NYSOH), Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, Medicare, MLTC, FIDA, and HARP. Your role will involve answering questions about the features and benefits of our products, and comparing them to competing plans in your territory.
The HBR will interact directly with individuals, conducting a needs-based analysis to better understand and recommend the best product for their unique needs. You will educate individuals on healthy lifestyles, preventive care services, and guide them through the application and enrollment process. You may also represent Fidelis Care at various community events, marketing sites, and even in individuals' homes. Through your understanding of individuals' needs, you will generate referrals from those you have assisted, benefiting others who may need Fidelis Care's products.
Building and establishing relationships within the community is an important aspect of this role, as you will seek out new opportunities and sites in your assigned territory. You may also deliver presentations to educate and promote Fidelis Care products to individuals, groups, providers, community-based organizations, and local business leaders. You will utilize the Sales Force CRM as an activity tracking and lead/referral tracking tool, manage appointments and follow-ups, and provide regular reports to your management. You will also have a strong understanding of the QCMI program, be familiar with the provider networks in your territory, and have knowledge of Fidelis Care's care management approach.
This is a 100% field-based position located in Fairport, Rochester, Monroe County, NY, with occasional nights and weekends. The working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Education/Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required. Prior experience in managed care, sales, customer service, or related fields is preferred. Basic computer skills are required, and some plans may require a driver's license. Fluency in specific languages may be required for certain plans.
Our Comprehensive Benefits Package:
Pay Range: $21.93 - $37.30 per hour
Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
