About the Job

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the development of new ventures within Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance, from start to finish. You will work with a matrixed team, including support for the business model, to bring these ventures to life and scale them into successful business models. Additionally, you will be accountable for integrating new ventures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational success. As a leader, you will also oversee P&C functions and manage talent capabilities within your team. Your expertise in agile methodology and data analysis will be essential for driving the development process and achieving strategic milestones in the P&C industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire process of developing new ventures in the P&C insurance sector
• Execute the strategy and oversee product development for these ventures
• Create and implement roadmaps for new product development
• Drive the expansion of new venture products, services, and member growth
• Manage the integration of future mergers and acquisitions
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partnerships
• Recruit, develop, and manage talent capabilities within your team
• Oversee regular meetings with the new ventures leadership team to review performance and identify opportunities
• Ensure compliance and risk management throughout the process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10 years of experience in product sales and/or relationship management
• 6 years of leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams
• Experience with brokered product methodology
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Expertise in agile methodology and data analysis
• Comprehensive knowledge of P&C insurance products and industry practices

• 7 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry
• 5 years of business development experience
• 5 years of partnership/relationship management experience
• 3 years of corporate development/M&A experience

Compensation:

USAA offers competitive compensation based on experience and market standards. The salary range for this position is $180,500.00 - $325,000.00. Eligible employees may also receive pay incentives based on performance and overall corporate goals as determined by the USAA Board of Directors. Executive-level employees may also participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan, a cash payment based on time and performance.
