All About On Demand:

As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you can work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule will depend on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you won't be included on the regular weekly schedule. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you. You must actively engage by picking up and working shifts and responding to our contact attempts. Regular attendance is necessary, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months.

If offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you'll attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a short-term structured training schedule to prepare you for your role. After that, you can pick up shifts using our myTime mobile scheduling app.

All About Service & Engagement:

Guest Advocate Team Members (TMs) welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations. They are knowledgeable about our physical and digital services, promoting and selling various benefits and offerings. As a Guest Advocate, your day will include various responsibilities, such as delivering excellent service, observing and understanding guest needs, engaging with guests, scanning and bagging items, promoting our Target RedCard, assisting guests with various services and offerings, and maintaining a clean work area.

What We Are Looking For:

If you enjoy working in a fun and energetic environment, providing exceptional service to guests, and interacting with people throughout the day, you might be a great match for the Guest Advocate role. You should have good communication skills, a welcoming and helpful attitude, attention to detail, a willingness to educate guests and sell products/services, adaptability to evolving technology, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

We also expect you to handle cash transactions accurately, scan and move merchandise efficiently and safely, and have a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. As an On-Demand TM, we ask for your active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to our contact attempts. If we do not receive a response, your employment with Target will be terminated. You must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment.
