    Job Description

    _ JOB POSITION:_

    SAP Warehouse Management Functional Expert

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    Sanofi is currently undergoing a digital transformation, implementing SAP S4/HANA as its core ERP solution. The ITS ERP Domain Expert will be a part of the regional team responsible for implementing and supporting materials management and warehouse management processes. The focus will be on S4/HANA implementations at Sanofi's manufacturing sites in North America. The candidate will collaborate with the global ITS ERP practitioners network to ensure process and solution standardization and harmonization.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business process design and SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. They will need strong skills in mapping best-in-class business processes to the S4/HANA solution through configuration and master data design. The candidate will lead functional workstreams and be responsible for delivering successful solutions. A proactive mindset, customer service focus, and adaptability will be key to achieving outstanding results.

    The candidate will also be responsible for the stabilization, optimization, and value optimization of the S4 solution at Sanofi's North American manufacturing sites after the implementation.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The ITS ERP Domain Expert will:

    Business process and application solution:

    • Analyze current business processes
    • Apply Sanofi's global ERP template solution to optimize business value
    • Support data migration activities
    • Ensure integrated process design within S4/HANA and with external systems
    • Create and perform functional unit and integration tests
    • Support key users in User Acceptance Testing
    • Contribute to go-live preparation, cutover, and hypercare tasks

    Organizational change management:

    • Identify change impacts to end users' ways of working
    • Facilitate changes in business processes
    • Train key users in the new processes and solution
    • Promote the core model solution with stakeholders and users
    • Provide support to improve cross-functional efficiency

    Data management:

    • Collaborate with key users to cleanse data in legacy systems
    • Support data extraction from legacy systems
    • Aid in data migration activities

    Cut-over and go-live:

    • Identify cutover steps and contribute to cutover plan
    • Execute domain-specific cutover activities and support key users
    • Assist in stabilizing the new solution during the hypercare phase

    Ongoing support:

    • Stabilize the solution post hypercare
    • Lead value improvement activities
    • Implement future improvements to live sites as the core model evolves

    REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

    Experience & Knowledge:

    • At least 5 years of experience as an SAP consultant with a focus on Warehouse Management
    • Experience in other SAP modules and related processes is helpful
    • Successful experience in SAP deployment within the manufacturing industry
    • Experience in Life Science industries is a plus

    Core Competencies:

    • In-depth knowledge of Materials Management and Warehouse Management processes and SAP solutions
    • Experience with SAP eWM and TM is ideal
    • Experience in agile project approaches (SAFe experience is a plus)
    • Ability to challenge processes, actively listen, and be open-minded
    • Strong influencing, negotiation, and conflict management skills
    • Service/customer-oriented mindset
    • Organizational change management skills
    • Strong decision-making abilities
    • Excellent communication skills
