Job Description: Financial Customer Associate

Location: Omaha, NE Area only

About the Job:

Are you interested in a career where you can make a difference in people's lives while mostly working from home? If so, we invite you to join our customer service team. We are looking for compassionate individuals who live within 60 miles of the Greater Omaha metro area to become Financial Customer Associates. This is a full-time, phone-based customer service role, and prior finance experience is not required. We offer paid training, a complete work from home computer package, and all the resources you need.

Your Impact:

• Building rapport and showing empathy towards customers, making them feel valued
• Using internal resources effectively to find the right solutions for clients
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills and perseverance to resolve issues
• Clear problem definition and raising concerns when necessary
• Taking initiative to acquire the expertise to resolve customer issues
• Assisting customers with professionalism and meeting business goals

Your Expertise and Skills:

• A degree or customer service experience is helpful. If you don't have a degree but would like to pursue one, Fidelity offers tuition reimbursement programs to support your education.
• Strong listening and empathy skills to support the diverse challenges of our customers
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A supportive and team-oriented attitude
• Computer proficiency
• Pro-active problem-solving skills
• The ability to manage challenging situations and conversations
• Effective questioning to uncover hidden customer needs
• Identifying actions for positive outcomes

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Must have open availability from 7:30am to 11:00pm CST. Overtime hours are encouraged during peak call periods.
