Citi Community Capital Job Opportunity: Multifamily Underwriter / Asset Manager

Citi Community Capital (CCC) is looking to hire a Multifamily Underwriter / Asset Manager to join our team. CCC offers a range of financial products to support the construction, rehabilitation, refinancing, and acquisition of affordable multifamily housing across the country. We work with nonprofit and for-profit developers, community development institutions, and government agencies to provide affordable housing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of permanent loans for affordable multifamily developments throughout the United States.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to process borrower requests and address property management changes.
• Ensure compliance with loan documents and proactively monitor loans for covenant adherence.
• Prepare and present credit recommendations for loan extensions, modifications, and restructures.
• Analyze project performance, market conditions, and liquidity sources during annual loan reviews.
• Identify and escalate issues that require further investigation and recommend appropriate actions.
• Conduct risk rating analysis and update property valuations based on market conditions.
• Efficiently manage multiple processes and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft programs.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable mindset.
• At least 3 years of asset management/underwriting experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• BA/BS in Finance or Real Estate preferred.
