If you choose to work as an On-DemandTeam Member, you have the freedom to work as much or as little as you'd like. Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those who prefer a flexible work schedule.
As an On-Demand Team Member, you won't be included on the regular weekly schedule. Instead, you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts that are posted by leaders or other team members using our myTime mobile scheduling app. You have the freedom to choose shifts that best fit your schedule.
We expect you to actively engage by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to our attempts to contact you.
We will reach out to you throughout the year to confirm your availability and interest in working shifts at Target. If we don't receive a response, your employment with Target will be administratively terminated.
Regular attendance is essential, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months, or your employment will be administratively terminated.
Effective communication and availability to work when the business needs you are crucial for success in this role.
If you are offered a position as an On-Demand Team Member, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your new role. After that, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up shifts.

As a Guest Advocate, you will welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. You will also promote both physical and digital services and solutions, having knowledge about features that encourage guest loyalty. Your goal is to make shopping effortless and seamless for guests at various areas of the store.
