About the Position

As an On-Demand Team Member at Target, you have the flexibility to work as little or as much as you want. You can create your own schedule by picking up shifts that suit your availability and preferences. This role is perfect for individuals who need a personalized work schedule.

Your active engagement is important in this role. You must pick up and work shifts when they are available and respond to our attempts to contact you. Regular attendance is necessary, and at least one shift must be worked within 6 months to maintain employment.

If you are offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and receive structured training to prepare you for your role. Once trained, you can use the myTime mobile scheduling app to pick up the shifts you want to work.

About Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. You will welcome and assist guests, solve any concerns they may have, and ensure their shopping experience is positive and enjoyable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for guests by greeting them authentically
• Assess guests' needs and offer assistance accordingly
• Provide information about products, services, and promotions
• Thank guests for choosing Target and make sure they feel valued
• Efficiently scan and bag items at the checkout
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy
• Inform guests about upcoming brand launches and store events
• Promote and assist guests with enrollment in Target RedCard and other services
• Show guests how to use the Target App and its features
• Resolve guest concerns and de-escalate negative situations
• Assist with order pick up and drive-up services
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work in compliance with safety and ethical standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
